Newbury Conference and Events based at Newbury Racecourse has revealed plans to build new events facility at the Berkshire racecourse.

The new Horseman’s Club will include a bar, restaurant and patio area and will accommodate up to 200 guests banquet style on non-race days.

Construction of the Horseman’s Club is due to start in February 2016 with completion expected in 2017.

The Horseman’s Suite is one component of a planned £20 million worth of improvements at Newbury Racecourse which will include new entrances, a new administration office as well as an update of the Berkshire Stand and Pall Mall building.

Newbury Racecourse also has outline planning permission for a 120-bedroom, four star hotel although there are no immediate plans to begin work on this project.
