Plans to add a further 18 bedrooms, a spa facility and a banqueting suite at  Whitley Hall Hotel in Sheffield have been recommended for approval ahead of a city council planning meeting next week.
Whitley Hall Hotel is a Grade II-listed 16th century ivy-clad mansion dating back to 1580. The hotel currently has 32 bedrooms and six meeting rooms with the largest accommodating up to 100 delegates. It is located north of Sheffield city centre, less than two miles from the M1 at junction 35 and will good access to both the M18 and M62.
