Manchester-based Blue Rainbow Aparthotels, with two aparthotels in Manchester and one in Edinburgh, is planning to invest £27million in its portfolio and launch two new brands – Cityspace and Citycube Hotels.
The group's two Manchester aparthotels include Manchester Central just off Deansgate with 79 apartments over nine floors and Manchester High Street close to the Printworks with 19 one and two bedroom apartments. Blue Rainbow Aparthotel Edinburgh is in a 200-year-old former museum building just off Princes Street.

Cityspace Aparthotels will build on the existing Blue Rainbow model whilst Citycube Hotel sites will allow the group to compete in the budget hotel market.
Blue Rainbow Aparthotels include a 24 hour-staffed reception desk, resident gym facility and laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. Although designed for long-term stays, Blue Rainbow Aparthotels will accept stays from one night.

Blue Rainbow Group is looking at additional sites in Manchester as well as Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham.
