Marriott Hotels have published plans to open two new hotels in Slough.

The hotels, a 144-bedroom boutique-style Moxy Hotel and a 92 bedroom extended-stay Residence Inn, will both share the site of a former library in the centre of Slough.

The site will include a ground floor restaurant and bar.

The Moxy Hotel and Residence Inn will act as a major trigger for the regeneration of central Slough.

The hotels are expected to open in time for the launch of Crossrail in 2019.
