Gisborough Hall, the four-star hotel on the edge of the North York Moors is planning a new multi-million-pound spa development.

Work should be underway by early next year and it is hoped the extensive woodland spa will be open by the end of 2018.

The new spa at Gisborough Hall will include an 18-metre indoor pool, an outdoor hydro-pool, a variety of heat experiences with relaxation space, nine treatment rooms, an extensive gym and a fitness studio.

Gisborough Hall is a Grade II-listed country house which dates back to 1857. It was fully restored as a four-star hotel in 2002 following investment by the Gisborough family, who privately own the hotel.

Gisborough Hall is currently home to 71 bedrooms,  Chaloner’s Restaurant, a Revival Zone spa, ‘G’ Bar and Bistro, as well as a ballroom, conservatory and events spaces.

Gisborough Hall is around a 20-minute drive from Middlesbrough.
