Cromlix hotel owned by Andy Murray has been awarded Five Gold Stars following an inspection by VisitScotland.  

Cromlix has thus become one of only two Five Gold-Star country house hotels in Scotland.

Cromlixis  an original Victorian country house set in 34 acres of woodlands and garden. It became a hotel initially in 1981 and was purchased by Murray at the start of 2013.

He converted the property into a luxury 15-bedroom and gate lodge hotel - and boasting a restaurant overseen by chef Albert Roux.

Cromlix is located three miles from Dunblane in Perthshire.
