Bespoke Hotels will operate the new hotel set to open at the former Coventry Telegraph offices in the centre of Coventry.

Refurbishment and conversion of the building into a 100-bedroom boutique hotel is expected to start at the end of this year.

The new hotel will retain the original features of the former newspaper offices, including its panelled boardroom and newspaper’s owner Lord Iliffe’s apartment.

The new hotel will also feature a ground floor restaurant and bar, meeting and events space and a rooftop bar.

The new hotel is scheduled to open ahead of Coventry being named UK City of Culture in 2021.

Bespoke Hotels currently manages over 9,500 hotel rooms in 21 countries around the world. Their UK portfolio includes Bermondsey Square Hotel in London, Hotel Gotham in Manchester and Billesley Manor Hotel in Stratford on Avon
