Newcastle Castle has just re-opened following a £1.67million refurbishment. Newcastle Castle comprises the newly renovated Black Gate and the upgraded Castle Keep.

They both chart the history of Newcastle-on-Tyne from the twelfth century onwards. Newcastle Castle is available for a meeting, event, dinner or drinks reception. As well as the Castle’s Great Hall or the Black Gate’s Harbottle Room, the Keep’s roof is also available for a drinks reception – it offers a panoramic view of the city and River Tyne.  Event space is equipped with the latest AV technology and access has been redesigned for the comfort of the twenty-first century visitor.
