Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard has opened in London with the first batch of 59 bedrooms. Located between levels 34 and 52 of the Renzo Piano-designed spectacular Shard building overlooking London Bridge, it is Europe's tallest hotel. Eventually Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard will feature 202 bedrooms and suites, three restaurants and bars including London’s highest cocktail bar, London’s highest infinity pool plus three conference and banqueting suites. The views from the hotel span the London city-scape and this will undoubtedly be a major attraction for guests at least initially. Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard in London is the third Shangri-La hotel to open in Europe joining properties in Paris and Istanbul.
