A partnership which includes former Manchester United players, Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, has unveiled the first images of its 700,000 sq-ft mixed-use scheme in the centre of Manchester.
The plans aim to transform the Jackson’s Row area with a new 200-bedroom, five-star hotel as well as private apartments, office and retail space and restaurants.
The development features two principal buildings:
The 31-storey Number One St. Michael's will be home to the hotel and residences.
The 21-storey Number Two St Michael's will principally provide office accommodation.
The plan also envisages three new public spaces: St Michael’s Square, The Steps and The Garden, which will connect Albert Square and St Peter's Square through to Deansgate and onto Spinningfields in central Manchester. This space will house restaurants, cafes and bars.
A public consultation exhibition will take place at the beginning of September.
