Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh has just started an £8 million major refurbishment of its conference centre in the Scottish capital.

The refurbishment will include all the meeting rooms and the Sir John Crofton Room. The proposals will deliver a state-of-the-art auditorium seating up to 300 delegates with improved acoustics, temperature control, lighting, physical accessibility and an enhanced network infrastructure.

A spectacular glass atrium will ink the historic and modern buildings as well as providing new and interactive communal areas.

200 sq-mt of additional floor space in the new education hub will provide extra breakout and seminar space.

Existing facilities at the Royal College of Physicians will still be available for hire during the refurbishment.

Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh is based in Queen Street in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town and a short walk from the city’s public transport hub.
