The Barbican Centre in London has reopened its Frobisher rooms on Level 4 following an extensive £650,000 autumn refurbishment programme.
The Frobisher rooms comprise six individual conference suites each seating up to 50 delegates theatre style or 16 delegates boardroom style.
The suites are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning which when removed form two large rooms seating up to 170 delegates theatre style or 104 classroom style.
The Frobisher rooms now have new furniture and artwork throughout. Refreshed public areas include a new lounge space and central hub area to facilitate catering for informal events and breakout sessions.
The Frobisher rooms have natural daylight and are air conditioned. They are equipped with a built-in front projection screen, LCD projector and white board and can be blacked out for presentations.
The Barbican Centre is a well-known ‘Brutalist’ building and has a range of auditoria, rooms and spaces available for a wide variety of events, from conferences, AGMs, photoshoots and product launches to meetings, receptions and weddings.
The Barbican Centre was also the winner of ‘Coolest Conference & Exhibition Centre 2015’ award at Prestige Event’s COOL Awards
