The National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull has completed the installation of a dedicated fibre line for its conference internet access. This provides speeds of up to 100Mbit/s on both the download and upload.
The upgrading is to accommodate the needs of organisers expecting a large number of delegates that require a fast, reliable internet connection or those presenters wishing to stream high-definition (HD) video and conduct HD online presentations. With the latest hardware, bandwidth can be reserved for important applications and devices without compromising on the experience for other users. Wireless internet is available in all conference suites at The National Motorcycle Museum as are wired connections where required.
The National Motorcycle Museum is located in the heart of the West Midlands motorway, rail and flight networks. It is located on junction 6 island of the M42 close to the M6, M40 and M5. Birmingham International Station, Birmingham International Airport and the NEC are a five-minute taxi ride away.
The National Motorcycle Museum has 13 purpose built event suites, including the Wardroom, seating small parties of up to 20 guests and the Imperial Suite which can host 1000 delegates.
