Construction work has restarted on the new Hilton Hotel at the Ageas Bowl Southampton, the new hotel at Hampshire’s cricket ground, after the original contractor went out of business.

The 175-bedroom hotel is now scheduled to open in spring 2015 although the Media Centre which the hotel houses will be ready in time for the England v India Test Match this July.

When completed the  Hilton Hotel at the Ageas Bowl Southampton will have an extensive range of meeting and banqueting suites accommodating from ten to 700 guests and will be pitching for corporate events, product launches, exhibitions, business meetings and team building exercises. The hotel will have views overlooking the famous cricket pitch as well as an 18-hole golf course.

Hilton Hotel at the Ageas Bowl is located just off Junction 7 of the M27 motorway.
