A £4.5 million restoration has just been completed at Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire. The hotel is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and it lists the names of Queen Elizabeth I and Henry VIII in its visitors book. More recently the hotel has been setting of the television drama Wolf Hall.
Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa is a four red star Grade I-listed hotel. The renovation has included a redecoration and refurnishing of the Great Hall. The reception, restaurant, bar and lounge areas have been redesigned, with new interior detail. All the meeting rooms, the conservatory, ground floor areas and bedrooms throughout the Main House and Georgian Knightley Court have been refurbished. The Spa has also had a facelift with new equipment and fittings.
Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa has 60 bedrooms and suites plus extensive meeting and banqueting facilities including Knightley Court, a Grade II-listed Georgian building adjacent to the hotel with 3,500 ft. of event space. There are four meeting rooms, a 29-seat cinema which can be exclusively hired as well as a range of private dining rooms.
Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa is set within parkland and formal gardens just south of Daventry between the M1 and M40 motorways with good access to both. The hotel is close to Silverstone and Warwick Castle.
