Nobu Hotel Shoreditch has opened with 150 bedrooms and suites. The opening has also unveiled London’s newest Nobu Restaurant.
Bedrooms at Nobu Hotel Shoreditch range from Deluxe rooms, through Executive and Premium rooms to a selection of luxury suites.
The 22sq-mt Deluxe rooms feature a ‘Shoreditch’s street art’ décor. They are furnished with a custom-designed media cabinet encompassing a private bar, a traditional Japanese tea set, a 55” television with Bluetooth and Apple TV. They include a European king-size bed, a walk-in shower and a dining/study area.
At the other end of the scale, the Nobu Suite offers the ultimate guest experience with double walk-in showers and two private balconies.
Nobu Restaurant serves Japanese-fusion cuisine. It will seat up to 240 guests and includes a sushi counter, lounge and bar area plus an outdoor courtyard. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Nobu Hotel Shoreditch has a range of flexible meeting and events spaces. The main ground floor Kaijo Suite has plenty of natural daylight and its own private entrance. It will accommodate up to 200 guests for an event and the room will divide into six separate units.
Nobu Hotel Shoreditch also has two semi-private dining spaces in the restaurant.
Nobu Hotel Shoreditch is located in Willow Street within walking distance of Old Street tube station, Liverpool Street mainline and tube stations and Shoreditch High Street Overground station.

Construction work has just started on the new International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) on site at the Celtic Manor Resort.
When complete in 2019, ICC Wales will provide 26,000 sq-mt total floor space for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events.
ICC Wales will accommodate up to 5,000 delegates and will include a 4,000 sq-mt pillar-free main hall, a 1,500 seated auditorium, 12 flexible meeting rooms, a double-height glass atrium and a 2,500sq-mt outdoor plaza.
ICC Wales has opened its diary with bookings already in place for 2019 onwards.

The Dock, based at Tobacco Quay in east London, has just opened ten new, flexible meeting rooms.
The new meeting rooms will accommodate up to 80 delegates in total with attached lounges as reception areas.
The Churchill and Kennedy Rooms are the two largest each seating up to 40 delegates theatre style. Both rooms are equipped with a video projector, Ethernet ports and up to 1GB Bandwidth.
The Brunel and Marx Rooms will each seat up to 10 delegates boardroom and these are equipped with a 60inch plasma screen plus the Ethernet ports and up to 1GB Bandwidth.
The meeting rooms have been designed for board and senior management meetings, product launches and training seminars. They are bookable by the hour and a full catering service is available for refreshments, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Tobacco Quay is located in Wapping Lane, ten minutes down river from Tower Bridge and with good access to Shoreditch and Canary Wharf.

Plans have been submitted to build a new 238-bedroom Moxy Hotel on Bristol's Newfoundland Circus.
The Moxy Hotel would be built in two stages, with 171 bedrooms included in the first phase. The second phase would see the redevelopment of the former Newfoundland Circus police station alongside the hotel to create an additional 67 bedrooms together with a connecting bridge.
The hotel would include a restaurant and conference facilities.
The plans have been submitted by Vastint Hospitality. The same group opened the new Moxy London ExCeL hotel in March 2017 with 164 bedrooms.

Flat Cap Hotels officially launch their second property, The Courthouse Hotel in Knutsford, Cheshire on 1st July 2017.
Barristers Restaurant & Bar is now open. The first ten bedrooms at The Courthouse Hotel will open later this year, with the additional 40 bedrooms opening in 2018.
Later this July The Courthouse Hotel will open its new Rooftop Gardens with a cocktail bar sharing space with the chef’s botanical herb garden. The Rooftop Gardens have capacity for 100 guests.
Background: Back in 2010, the Ministry of Justice closed the former Sessions House in Knutsford and left the historic Grade II-listed Georgian building empty. Over the last 18 months Flat Cap Hotels have been converting the Sessions House into a luxury conference and banqueting venue which can accommodate up to 400 guests for a reception in the main Court Room.
In addition the Moneypenny Suite will accommodate up to 100 guests for exhibitions, private dinners and events. Six other flexible meeting rooms will accommodate from ten to 100 people.
The Courthouse Hotel is located opposite Knutsford station with a regular rail service into central Manchester. It is two miles from junction 19 of the M6 motorway and 20 minutes from Manchester International Airport.
