Harbour Hotels group continue to grow their portfolio of luxury hotels. The group has acquired two former bank buildings on Corn Street in Bristol – the headquarters of Lloyds Bank and the Midland Bank site adjacent – and plan to open a 42 bedroom hotel following refurbishment and redevelopment.
The Harbour Hotel in Bristol will also include their signature ‘Jetty’ restaurant, a spa plus banqueting and events space.
Harbour Hotels have also announced a second hotel in Salcombe to join their existing Salcombe Hotel and Spa. The group has acquired Tides Reach Hotel in Salcombe and plan to add 40 new bedrooms again with a ‘Jetty’-branded restaurant and a spa.
During summer 2015 Harbour Hotels unveiled plans to open a new hotel in Brighton. The group has acquired a landmark 1850’s period building on Brighton’s seafront just minutes from Brighton Pier. They plan to convert it into the Brighton Harbour Hotel and Spa with 77 bedrooms and featuring a 'Jetty' restaurant and Champagne bar, a spa and a rooftop pool.
Brighton Harbour Hotel and Spa is expected to open in summer 2016 with the planned five-star Southampton Harbour Hotel and Spa at Ocean Village (pictured) opening in 2017.
