Middleton Lodge, a 17th century Georgian country mansion, boutique hotel and restaurant has unveiled the latest stage of its ongoing expansion plans – the creation of a kitchen garden.
Middleton Lodge is set in a 200-acre estate on the outskirts of Richmond in North Yorkshire.
Construction of the two and a half acre kitchen garden will begin shortly with a launch scheduled for 2017. The kitchen garden will incorporate a large garden, landscaped in parts and incorporating several vegetable patches as well as a wild area. It will provide fruit and vegetables to the kitchens and it will be open to the viewing public.
The Main House at Middleton Lodge is available for private hire. It includes 17 individually designed bedrooms as well as private dining rooms and boardrooms. Additional accommodation plus the restaurant and spa facilities are available in the Coach House. The Farm House, a short walk away from the main house has an additional five bedrooms.
Middleton Lodge is located in the village of Middleton Tyas with good access to the A1(M) at Scotch Corner.
