easyHotel plan to open in Ipswich

The easyHotel group has acquired a site in the centre of Ipswich and plans to convert it into a 94 bedroom hotel. The Grade II-listed property in Northgate Street was formerly a nightclub.

easyHotel targets the `super budget’ segment of the hotel industry marketing “clean, comfortable and safe” hotel rooms.

easyHotel Ipswich will represent a £4million investment for the group. Subject to planning approval being granted easyHotel Ipswich should be open in 2017.

easyHotels currently operate hotels in London, Glasgow and Croydon with a development pipeline including Liverpool, Manchester and various cities in Europe.
