The major £45million project to rebuild Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol is now approaching completion. The final phase, the rebuilding of the Williams Stand, is due for completion by September 2016.
Development of the Wedlock and Dolman Stands represented the first phase of the redevelopment of Ashton Gate. These are now complete and house a range of meeting and events facilities.
Ashton Gate Stadium is the home of Bristol City Football Club and Bristol Rugby Club. The development project includes new conference facilities, administration offices, a sports bar, café and shops.
When complete the new Ashton Gate will be one of the largest multi-purpose conference, exhibition and banqueting venues in the south west. It will include 1700 sq-mt of new exhibition space and seating for 900 delegates.
Ashton Gate Stadium is less than two miles from the centre of Bristol and has good access to both the M5 motorway at junction 18, and the M4 at junction 19.
