The private members club, Soho House, has announced plans to open a property in Manchester.
The chosen site in Manchester is the old Granada television studios in the city centre. Soho House would be a part of the £1.2bn regeneration of the 25-acre Quay Street site.
Planning permission was granted in October for the 150-bedroom hotel which will also include a top floor club, a media workspace studio and suites, a boutique cinema, a live performance space as well as private bars and restaurants. It will also feature Manchester’s first rooftop swimming pool.
Non-members can stay at Soho House properties as well as holding meetings and events on the premises. Access at peak times and weekends however is prioritised for members.
