Serviced apartment company, SACO, has acquired a new property in Buckle Street, London and is planning to convert it into an aparthotel.
The building is currently a five-storey office property. It will become a 78-unit aparthotel with an opening planned in the second half of 2018. It will also form an extension to SACO’s new 168-unit aparthotel in Leman Street which is scheduled to open at the end of 2016.
Both aparthotels are located in Aldgate East on the fringe of the City of London and a short walk from Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market.
The new property is one of five SACO projects scheduled to open in the next three years. The first in London’s Cannon Street will open its first phase in March 2016 with 77 studio and one bedroom serviced apartments. SACO will also be launching two aparthotels in Edinburgh in 2017.
