The first of two Dakota Deluxe hotels planned to open in 2016 will be in Glasgow.

The seven-storey Dakota Deluxe Glasgow will have 83 bedrooms including 11 suites. It will feature ‘Jack’s Bar’, after the New York venue of the same name plus a ‘Downstairs at Jack’s’ restaurant.

Dakota Deluxe, as the name implies, will be a higher-spec hotel than the two existing Dakota Hotels located on the outskirts of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Dakota Deluxe Glasgow is scheduled to open in West Regent Street in the centre of Glasgow in May 2016. The hotel will be a short walk from Glasgow’s Charing Cross station

A second Dakota Deluxe opens in Leeds later in 2016.
