British Airways i360 opens this summer on Brighton beach. It is now taking bookings for events from 1 September 2016.
British Airways i360 is the world’s tallest moving observation tower and the world’s first vertical cable car. It has been designed by London Eye architects, Marks Barfield.
The event suite at British Airways i360 is located in the beach building at the base of the tower. Meeting space includes the main Beach Room which will seat up to 200 delegates and will divide into two independent rooms.
The Greene Boardroom will seat 25 delegates and the 1866 West Pier Toll Booth, which is only available for hire in the evening, will accommodate up to 38 delegates. The Glass Pod itself will seat 156 delegates.
The meeting rooms have sea views and private beach front terraces. Meetings can be combined with a ride on the cable car.
British Airways i360 is a two minute walk from the Brighton Centre and three of Brighton’s major conference hotels including the Hilton Metropole, The Grand Brighton and the Holiday inn Brighton. A pre- or post-meeting reception can be hosted at British Airways i360 in conjunction with any Brighton meeting or event.
