Up to twelve international hotel groups have reportedly expressed an interest in operating Admiralty Arch in London which is being converted into a 100-bedroom luxury hotel with a private member’s club.
Admiralty Arch is a Grade 1-listed building located on The Mall in St James’s and is known as the gateway to Buckingham Palace. It was built in 1910 and was the residence of the first sea lord. It was then occupied by the Cabinet Office before being sold in 2012.
Restoration of Admiralty Arch is currently underway. The selected hotel operator is expected to be announced in 2017.
