W Hotels is coming to Scotland.

Nicknamed the ‘ribbon hotel’ in view of its unusual design featuring free-flowing spiral ribbons, the W Edinburgh is scheduled to open in 2021  on the redeveloped Edinburgh St. James scheme in the centre of the city.

The 12-storey W Edinburgh will have 214 bedrooms including 20 suites and one ‘Extreme Wow’ Suite - W brand’s take on the presidential suite.

The rooftop will feature a destination bar and outdoor terrace. W Edinburgh will also feature a W Lounge and a signature restaurant. Leisure facilities will include ‘FIT’ – a workout gym plus an ‘AWAY’ Spa, W Hotels brand’s signature health and lifestyle offering.

W Edinburgh will have 2,450 square feet of meeting and events space.

W Edinburgh joins  W London - Leicester Square, which is the only other ‘W’ hotel in the UK. It opened in 2011.

W Edinburgh will be located just off Princes Street a short walk from Edinburgh Waverley station.
