Beaumont Hotel is a new boutique hotel set to open in London's Mayfair in late summer 2014. Operated by restaurateurs Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, the 73 bedroom hotel is located at 8 Balderton Street in the former Avis building, a 1920's Art Deco structure originally used as a garage.
Very few details of the hotel have been published by the operators although it is generating plenty of headlines mainly because the Beaumont Hotel will feature a sculpture of a crouching man by artist Anthony Gormley which is predicted to become a landmark for the area.
Beaumont Hotel will feature 73 guest rooms, including 22 suites, a grill room, an American bar, a separate residents’ bar and lounge, a boardroom and a gymnasium and spa.
King and Corbin have made their reputation with top London restaurants such as The Wolseley, The Ivy and Le Caprice.
