John Broome, founder of Alton Towers theme park, is set to secure approval to build ‘Camel Creek Resort’ - a new holiday and leisure park in Cornwall.
The 200-acre Camel Creek Resort site will include 236 three, four and five bedroom accommodation, an apartment courtyard, a fine dining restaurant, a Cornwall Discovery Centre, country pursuits and a tropical pool and spa.
Plans also include a convention centre, indoor sports facilities and a fully integrated adventure/theme park.
If planning is approved Camel Creek Resort will be built on land at Trevibban Deer Farm in Wadebridge, adjacent to Crealy Great Adventure Park – a ten minute drive from Newquay Airport in Cornwall.
