All 49 bedrooms at the Grey Street Hotel will undergo a full refurbishment with completion planned for May 2017.
The bedrooms will be individually styled with a décor reflecting the area’s rich industrial heritage.
A new conference and events space accommodating up to 100 delegates will be located in the lower basement, along with a new spa with three treatment rooms and a hair and beauty salon.
Grey Street Hotel is a Grade II-listed building located at the heart of Newcastle City Centre. It is a three minute walk to Newcastle Central station, a two minute walk to the nearest metro station and a one minute walk to Newcastle Quayside.
