The Science Museum in Kensington, London, launched its interactive gallery - Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery in the autumn. It is available for corporate event hire.
The £6million interactive gallery features over 50 exhibits in seven zones. The gallery allows visitors to explore the incredible science phenomena that occurs around us every day, across topics as diverse as sound, forces, light and electricity.
Guests can take the ultimate selfie in the infinity mirror, order experiments at the Chemistry Bar, watch real life lightning strikes.
In addition to the interactive exhibits and artworks, guests can experience live demonstrations and explosive shows led by the museum’s team of science communicators. Alternatively they can simply eat, drink and socialise.
Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery encompasses 1,600sq-mt and will accommodate 400 guests for an evening reception. The gallery is available for standalone hire or in conjunction with another gallery for seated dining.
There is a 120-capacity theatre-style auditorium adjoining the gallery.
The new Mathematics: The Winton Gallery opens at the Science Museum on 8th December 2016.
The Gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, explores how mathematicians, their tools and ideas have helped build the modern world. The gallery span 400 years of human ingenuity from the renaissance to the present day, with objects ranging from intriguing hand-held mathematical instruments to a 1929 experimental aircraft.
The Science Museum is located in Exhibition Road in Kensington, a five minute walk from South Kensington tube station.
