An expansion at Cromlix hotel in Perthshire is being planned. The project envisages an extra 30 bedrooms, spa treatment rooms, a conference and events area for up to 200 people plus a new gym.
The project would also include a breakfast and afternoon tea area that would be overseen by Chef Albert Roux as part of the hotel’s existing Chez Roux restaurant.
Cromlix is owned by tennis champion Andy Murray. It reopened in 2014 and currently includes 10 bedrooms, five suites and a gate lodge as well as the Chez Roux restaurant.
Subject to approval, work on the new development is expected to begin in 2018 with an opening in 2020.
Cromlix is set in 34 acres of woodlands and gardens three miles from Dunblane in Perthshire.
