A new 125-bedroom boutique hotel is one component of a proposed £24million regeneration scheme of Bristol’s harbourside.
Other components could include a “Bristol Eye” big wheel, a floating restaurant, a covered area for market stalls as well as a floating restaurant and cafes.
The site is owned by Bristol City Council and it has been earmarked for leisure use.
Developers are in discussion with IHG to possibly launch a new Hotel Indigo on the site.
