Plans are being drawn up to convert the former headquarters of the Coventry Evening Telegraph newspaper into a boutique hotel.
The post-war building, on a site which bounds Lamb Street, Upper Well Street and Corporation Street in the centre of Coventry, has been vacant since 2012.
New owners plan to preserve the main building in recognition of its important role in the city’s post-war redevelopment.
A mixed-use scheme is planned for the building which will comprise a 250-bedroom hotel, 16,000 sq-ft of leisure space, student accommodation plus private apartments and office space.
