A new 147-bedroom four-star hotel is being planned for a site on Cheetham Hill Road on the edge of Manchester city centre.
The proposed eight-storey, L-shaped hotel would include a restaurant plus a two-level basement car park.
The brown-field site is currently occupied by a former petrol station-turned-car wash.
The new hotel will be close to Manchester’s Green Quarter, Manchester Arena and HM Prison Manchester, better-known as Strangeways.
No date has been set yet by Manchester City Council to consider the application.
