Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) has just opened its new conference and events facility.
The facilities, located in the university’s Hamish Wood building, include a state-of-the-art conference hall, a glass entrance pavilion plus a suite of seminar rooms and break-out spaces.
The conference hall is a flexible space with retractable theatre-style seating. It can accommodate up to 500 people in either a tiered lecture theatre layout or in a large open space for a more informal gathering such as a private dinner. The glass ceiling floods the room with natural daylight.

The new facility is also home to three new garden and courtyard spaces.
