It is being built on the site of the Winter Gardens in Blackpool and will have space to accommodate up to 2000 delegates.
Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre is situated on the Leopold Grove side of the Winter Gardens complex.
Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre will have a double height entrance foyer with exhibition space on the first floor.
Above this on the second floor there will be a large uninterrupted space capable of hosting major conferences for up to 2,000 delegates.
Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre will complement the facilities in the existing Grade II-listed Blackpool Winter Gardens. It will bring the total venue capacity for conferences up to 7000 delegates.
The Winter Gardens project is part of an overall £500million invested in regenerating the north-west resort. It is an investment which will include new four star hotels as well as a revamped tram system.
