Plans have been submitted for yet another new hotel in Manchester.
The latest development is a planned four-storey, 135-bedroom hotel. It will sit on a 1.8-acre site fronting Queens Road at the Irish World Heritage Centre in Cheetham Hill.
The new hotel would provide ‘much needed’ accommodation for events at the Heritage Centre.
The new hotel would also include up to 110 car parking spaces.
Irish World Heritage Centre is a conference and events venue featuring music, dance and language classes. It sits in a landscaped site between the River Irk and the Manchester Fort shopping centre.
Manchester City Council has not yet set a date to consider the application.
