New owners of Jamaica Inn hotel, Cornwall's most famous smugglers inn, are planning further extensions.

An additional 16 bedrooms are being created currently. These will come on stream in June this year and will take the total number of bedrooms at Jamaica Inn to 36.

A new large events space for up to 250 guests is also planned. This will be one of the largest events spaces in Cornwall.

Coming shortly, Jamaica Inn is planning to launch its own-label lager and cider in addition to its existing Jamaica Inn real ale. This will be followed by the introduction of their own 'smugglers rum'.

Jamaica Inn is located at Bolventor beside the A30 on Bodmin Moor, midway between Launceston and Bodmin and close to the Cornwall/Devon border.
