Two hotels are set to join the Mercure group.

They are the Lambert Hotel: a traditional coaching inn at Thame, Oxfordshire and Hunton Park: a country house hotel in 22 acres of garden in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

Both hotels will undergo major refurbishment over the coming months with new bedrooms added and conference facilities updated.

Mercure Thame Lambert (pictured left) has 44 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, four meeting and events rooms with the Oxford Room the largest seating up to 120 delegates.

Mercure Thame Lambert also has its own courtyard garden and large field available for team building and outdoor activities. Future plans include an additional 22 bedrooms at the rear of the hotel plus a new gym and spa.

Mercure Thame Lambert is 500 metres from the M40J6 on the borders of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Mercure Hunton Park (pictured right) has 61 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, indoor pool and extensive conference facilities, with the Hazelwood Suite the largest seating up to 100 delegates theatre style.

A further 16 bedrooms are planned for next year as well as a leisure facility and spa.

Mercure Hunton Park, Hertfordshire has good access from the M1 and M25 and is a 15 minute drive from Watford Junction station.

The two hotels, both of which are due to open this year, will bring the Mercure network in the UK to 82 hotels.
