Marriott Hotels has announced a planned expansion of its extended-stay brand, Residence Inn by Marriott.
Two new properties will be opening in London this year.
Residence Inn London – London Bridge is expected to open summer 2017 and will mark the debut of the Residence Inn brand in London. Residence Inn London –
Kensington is scheduled to follow later in 2017.
Residence Inn London – London Bridge will include 87 suites. It will be located in Long Lane in Southwark.
Residence Inn London – Kensington will have 307 suites. It will be located in Warwick Road in Earls Court.
The suites at Residence Inn cater for guests requiring a longer stay. They feature separate living, working and sleeping areas and are equipped with a fully functional kitchen; a grocery delivery service; fitness facilities; 24-hour markets; complimentary breakfasts plus free wi-fi throughout.
The two London properties will be joined by new openings in Europe including Aberdeen and Amsterdam; growing the European portfolio from three to seven hotels.
A further eight properties are expected to join the Residence Inn grouping by the end of 2019.
