Ballogie Estate has lodged plans for the redevelopment of the existing Potarch Hotel on the Ballogie Estate on Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire. The existing six-bedroom hotel will be transformed in a planned £7million investment into a 40-bedroom hotel including a spa, conference and events facility along with a new restaurant.
Subject to planning and building warrant, work will start on the Ballogie Hotel and Spa next year with a projected opening date of summer 2016.
Ballogie Estate is a family run land management business covering 6000 acres on Deeside. Activities include livestock farming, cropping, forestry and field sports especially salmon fishing along a 3.5 mile section of the River Dee which traverses the estate.
