Pub and hotel group, Daniel Thwaites, has added two hotels to its portfolio.
Middletons Hotel in York (pictured left) is a 56-bedroom property spread over six historic, Grade II-listed buildings located in a courtyard garden and just a few minutes’ walk from city centre York.
Middletons Hotel has a restaurant and bar plus five conference and meeting rooms. The largest meeting room is the Organ Factory seating up to 70 delegates theatre style.
The group’s second acquisition is Langdale Chase Hotel on Lake Windermere.
Langdale Chase is a Grade II-listed country house hotel, originally built in 1895, with 29 bedrooms, an eight bedroom lake house, a boat house and two jetties.
It has a recently built a 24-bedroom staff accommodation building, a 15-bedroom former staff house and a three bedroom gatehouse.
The Oak Room seating up to 36 delegates and a boardroom are the in-house meeting and events facilities at Langdale Chase Hotel. Sailing, walking, trekking and horse riding can all be arranged as team building exercises.
Langdale Chase is located on the shore of Lake Windermere in six acres of landscaped gardens with mountain and fell views.
These acquisitions take the Daniel Thwaites’ portfolio of hotels and inns to 21.
