The Leeu Collection, a South African-based group of small boutique hotels has unveiled plans to open a new hotel in London.
The Leeu Collection has received planning consent to convert an office building in Newman Street in Fitzrovia into a 100-bedroom hotel with an anticipated opening in 2019.
The Leeu Collection operate three small, boutique hotels in and round Franschhoek, South Africa’s wine growing region.
The group’s purchase last year of the 30-bedroom four-star Linthwaite House overlooking Lake Windermere in the Lake District was the group’s first foray overseas.
