RIBA North, the Royal Institute of British Architecture’s new national architectural centre, has just opened on the Liverpool waterfront.
RIBA North is a strikingly modern two-storey building, with a cafe, shop, offices, gallery spaces and meeting rooms. Its sits alongside 376 apartments plus commercial units.
RIBA North has been conceived as a place for people to discover more about architecture. They plans to run programmes of both public and professional activities throughout the year with exhibitions, talks, Liverpool City tours as well as operating the café and shop.
RIBA North has a selection of flexible meeting spaces for hire. Located over both floors of the building they will accommodate from six to 300 delegates for a variety of events including exhibitions, meetings, training sessions, drinks receptions, conferences and dinners.
Conference facilities are available for up to 70 delegates theatre style.
The meeting rooms are air-conditioned with temperature and humidity controls. Video conference facilities are available and wi-fi is free throughout.
RIBA North is located in Mann Island close to the Museum of Liverpool. It is a 20 minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street station and a two minute walk from Pier Head Ferry Terminal.
