Shiva Hotels has submitted plans to Westminster council to demolish Thirty Marylebone Lane, a prominent NCP car park in central London and build a luxury 206-bedroom hotel in its place.

The building is located at 74-77 Welbeck Street. It is also home to members club Sophisticats and a burger chain Meat Liquor.

The new nine-storey hotel, to be known as Marylebone Lane Hotel, will include a new ground floor restaurant plus a spa, swimming pool, café and club lounge.

Marylebone Lane Hotel should benefit from its location close to the new Crossrail/Tube interchange at Bond Street station.

Marylebone Lane Hotel will be operated by Shiva. They currently have a range of new hotels under development in central London including sites in Soho, Covent Garden, St Paul’s , Buckingham Gate and Holborn Viaduct.
