The first of the new Stow-Away aparthotels is expected open in London in October.
The Stow-Away will be a 20-bedroom aparthotel built from shipping containers with a wine bar and restaurant on the ground floor. It opens on Lower Marsh in London’s Waterloo.
The Stow-Away brand will be operated by Bridge Street Global Hospitality. It is being positioned to plug the gap in the market between high-end offerings and low-quality product.
A second Stow-Away is currently being planned in Birmingham.
This will be a planned conversion of Central Hall in Birmingham city centre. Stow-Away Birmingham will include a 135-bedroom hotel and a 51-bedroom Stow-Away aparthotel.
The project will also feature restaurants, bars and retail outlets on the ground floor. Work is expected to start on site next year once planning permission has been secured.
Future expansion plans will target more Stow-Away aparthotels in London as well as openings in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
