Rosewood Hotels & Resorts have been selected as the operator for a new hotel opening within London’s former US Embassy building.
The plan is to convert the Grade II-listed building in Grosvenor Square into a 137-bedroom ‘world-class’ hotel along with five restaurants, a spa and a 1,000 capacity ballroom.
US embassy staff will be moving into their new home in Nine Elms in Battersea later this year.
The new Rosewood Hotel will be the second to open in London joining the 306-bedroom Rosewood London on Holborn, which opened in 2014.
