Mercure George Washington Hotel Golf & Spa extending


Work to extend the Mercure George Washington Hotel Golf & Spa in Tyne & Wear is set to start after Wearside Construction secured a contract for the project. 

An additional 22 executive bedrooms will take the overall number of bedrooms at Mercure George Washington Hotelto 125. The majority of the new rooms will overlook the golf course.

The project is part of the hotel's wider plans to upgrade to a full golf and leisure resort. Work on the new bedrooms should be fully completed by May 2018

Mercure George Washington Hotel is located in High Usworth just off the A194(M)  and fifteen minutes from the centre of Newcastle.
