Yotel, the budget hotel chain, has unveiled plans for its first Scottish hotel. It will be located within Erskine House in Queen Street, central Edinburgh.
Yotel Edinburgh will include 280 cabin-style rooms as well as a two-storey screening room, a destination bar and a gym.
The hotel will also feature Yotel’s Club Lounge concept, which combines flexible meeting and co-working space with relaxation and socialising space.
Yotel, chiefly known for pioneering the capsule room concept at airports, has developed a portfolio of airport hotels including both Gatwick and Heathrow in the UK as well as Paris CDG and Amsterdam Schiphol.
More recently the group has expanded its base from airport sites into the city centre - in London’s Clerkenwell as well as major European and USA cities.
Yotel Edinburgh will be located in Edinburgh New Town, a five-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
