The Rubens at the Palace Hotel in London has just been relaunched, following the completion of a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Rubens at the Palace, with its Edwardian façade, sits between Buckingham Palace and the new NOVA development overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace.
The Rubens now offers two brand new restaurant concepts, a new bar, an afternoon tea service plus updated accommodations and communal spaces.
All 163 bedrooms, suites and serviced apartments at the Rubens have undergone a makeover. Over 80 new marble bathrooms have been installed along with 163 chandeliers.
The décor has also been updated and modern conveniences installed including USB sockets and an upgraded television in every room.
The Rubens has a new fine dining restaurant: The English Grill - as well as the newly opened Curry Room.
Rubens at the Palace features a 350-metre Living Wall adorning the side of the hotel overlooking NOVA. Its carpet of over 10,000 herbaceous plants improves the air quality of the surrounding Victoria area. It makes the Rubens at the Palace one of the most ‘green’ hotels across the Red Carnation Collection and London hotels in general.
